<description><![CDATA[<BR><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Eurobodalla Under 13 Boys Soccer<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><A title=_GoBack name=_GoBack></A><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri><BR><BR>Versus Shoalhaven<BR><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Gundary Oval, Saturday, 5<SUP>th</SUP> May<BR><BR><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Branch Championship points were up for grabs as The Under 13 Boys Eurobodalla Soccer team took on Shoalhaven last Saturday in Moruya.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; <BR><BR></SPAN>With only three games remaining in the competition, the winner of this match has a great chance of taking out the championship.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Eurobodalla started slowly, but as the game progressed they started to find their timing and midway through the half Elliott was able to loft the ball over the goal keeper’s head for Euro to take a well earned lead.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; <BR></SPAN>Further shots in the half from Teig and Logan unfortunately sailed wide, and right on half time Shoalhaven were able to slot the ball in from wide out to equalise.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>With the scores locked at one at the break, the game was for anyone’s taking.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Blake and Zac had been particularly strong in the first half, consistently taking the ball down the wing, while Kye, Nick and Damon worked hard in defence.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;<BR><BR></SPAN>In the midfield, Tom and Alex were linking well and Euro looked set for a strong second half.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Unfortunately, in the blink of an eye, Eurobodalla were suddenly down after a goal in the first minute, followed by a controversial penalty in the box after several players from both sides were brought down.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>A further dot shot was brilliantly saved by Sam N but Euro’s chance was gone.<BR><BR><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>While Jack, Matthew and Sam J refused to give up, Shoalhaven had the game in their keeping.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Eurobodalla were able to rally and were the better side for the last fifteen minutes, getting several shots in but the Shoalhaven goalie was equal to the task, making a memorable save against a booming drive from Alex.<BR><BR><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>A final score of 3-1 to Shoalhaven puts both teams equal on the points table with two rounds to play.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>This Eurobodalla team is a strong side, and with a little luck will give Shoalhaven a run for their money again in two weeks time in Nowra.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><o:p><FONT face=Calibri>&nbsp;<BR><BR></FONT></o:p></SPAN>]]></description>

<P style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt" class=MsoNormal><A name=_GoBack></A><FONT size=3 face=Calibri>The U14 Eurobodalla boys are playing with increasing confidence; ably assisted this outing by two U13 players.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>This confidence was rewarded by an early goal from Jack O’Donnell who showed great form all game.</FONT></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack"><FONT size=3 face=Calibri>The team continued to challenge Shoalhaven with Will Wright, Callan Lee and Kailem Strahan working hard to win the ball mid-field and create ongoing attacks.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>This led to a second goal from Brae Campbell who demonstrated his usual outstanding speed and skill. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack"><FONT size=3><FONT face=Calibri>One of Euro’s best opportunities came from one of the excellent crosses made by Will Smith who also performed solidly in defence.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>The cross curved to the far post to be met by Jack O’Donnell who had made a brilliant run.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN></FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack"><FONT size=3 face=Calibri>Gutsy performances from Alex Gwynne, James McInnes and Luke Seaman drove a defence that was only breached once before half time when a corner ball rebounded off our player, was saved by goalkeeper Alex Filmer-Smith but then fell to Shoalhaven to score.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 10pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="mso-bookmark: _GoBack"><FONT size=3 face=Calibri>A second half goalkeeper change saw Alex moving forward to make some useful attacks.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>After performing well outfield, Kurt Mayo-Ramsay took over making some valuable saves.</FONT></SPAN></P>

<description><![CDATA[<BR><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Under 13 Boys<BR><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Versus Monaro Panthers<BR><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Surfside, Saturday, April 28<SUP>th<BR><BR></SUP><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>For the third time this season, Eurobodalla squared off against the Queanbeyan based side, this time on home soil.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>With the score at one game each, a close and exciting struggle was expected.<BR><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Nick took the reins as captain for the day, and from the opening minutes, it was evident that neither side was prepared to let the other get on top.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Play travelled from one end to the other, but Euro showed a strong commitment to attacking the player with the ball and continually turned defence into attack.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;<BR></SPAN>Matthew at the back, along with Logan, sent the ball down field where Blake in particular made some strong runs down the wing and midway through the half he was able to send a perfect cross through to a flying<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Alex who headed it into the net for an early lead to the home side.<BR><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Monaro came straight back and two driving shots hit the crossbar but Euro were able to scramble well enough to keep them bay.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Kye, Damon and Jack worked hard with Sam in goal while up front,</FONT><A title=_GoBack name=_GoBack></A><FONT face=Calibri> Zac and Elliott were beginning to find some space.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; <BR></SPAN>The half time score of 1-0 was a testament to the effort put in by both teams.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Early in the second half Euro had the chance to go two up but a shot from Teig went within centimetres of going in.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; <BR></SPAN>From this point, Monaro appeared to steady and began to launch some excellent passing raids.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Tom and Sam J ran themselves into the ground in defence, but the heat and fatigue began to take its toll on the team and the Panthers were able to score three goals in the space of ten minutes for a 3-1 win.<BR><o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>After such a promising first half, the team was disappointed that they were not able to sustain it for the full match but every player gave their best effort and Euro was beaten by a better side on the day.<BR>Coach’s award went to Kye for an outstanding effort in defence, while the Player’s award went to a well deserving Blake who put his body on the line for the team.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face=Calibri>Next weekend’s match against Shoalhaven will have a big bearing on which team takes out the Southern Branch Championships.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; <BR><BR></SPAN>Go Euro!<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <BR><BR><BR></SPAN></FONT><o:p></o:p></SPAN>]]></description>

The program was designed to promote the talent of enthusiastic, motivated and skill potential nine year olds in the Eurobodalla region. This program expanded the following year; retaining the Under 9s as under 10s and brining in the next under 9 group.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'"><o:p><FONT size=3>&nbsp;<BR><BR></FONT></o:p></SPAN>
