Minor triumphs for Moruya and Bodalla

01 Sep, 2010 02:59 PM
MORUYA all age ladies and Bodalla all age men are through to their respective finals after minor semi-final wins over Narooma and Clyde United respectively at Gundary Oval on Sunday.

Moruya battled their way to a 3-2 win via goals to Crystal Staunton and Paula Pollock and faced a nervous wait for the final siren as Narooma kicked two quality goals late in the match.

EUROBODALLA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
Under Eight end of season Round Robin
Our Under Eight players all came together on Saturday August 28th at the Hanging Rock grounds to play in their end of season Round Robin.

This year the Batemans Bay Club hosted this event and it was very well organized. Thank you to all the committee members and their band of volunteers without whose help we could not have had these special day.

The games were so close that we had to go to a corner countback to determine the semi final places. But in the end it was an "All Clyde" affair with the final being played between Clyde United and Clyde Eagles.

      CONGRATULATIONS CLYDE UNITED!!!
         UNDER EIGHT CHAMPIONS 2010

All the players participated in a great spirit and it was great to see how this age group had developed so well over the season. We look forward to seeing everyone back for the 2011 season.
